[關於Natalie]
她於1975年出生澳洲雪梨， 17歲時因參演紅極一時的肥皂劇“鄰居（Neighbours）”而成名。然而Natalie認為她自己的興趣是音樂而非電視劇，1996年毅然離開了家鄉到英國的倫敦發展，事實證明她做了一個明智的選擇。到了英國之後便與一家唱片公司簽約，1997年推出了她個人的首支單曲Torn，是由The cure的貝司手Phil thomalley操刀製作，一經推出就登上了排行榜的冠軍寶座，在寶塔尖上傲視群雄長達14週之久，在英、美、澳洲等地的銷量超過百萬。於是，一位名不見經傳的小歌手Natalie Imbruglia一夜之間紅遍全球。
1998年Natalie Imbruglia推出了她的首張專輯Left of the middle ，在英美等地成績不俗。為了證明自己不是僅有漂亮的外貌，Natalie於2001年推出了她自己參與創作的第二張專輯White lilies island，其中的主打歌“That day”是英國電台的熱播曲。 2005年她的全新專輯Counting down the days也已經新鮮出爐。她熱愛音樂勝過表演，讓人大跌眼鏡的是她喜愛的樂隊竟然是Portishead, Radiohead, The cure等。事實上她的演唱風格也是在Phil thomalley的幫助下確立的，她有時也被稱為是主流版的Portishead。
Natalie是我很喜愛的女歌手之一，曲風多樣化有個性，聽起來很有暢快的感覺好像心情被唱出來一樣，有些歌應該都是耳熟能詳的另外MV也拍的很有意思有興趣的人可以到Youtube看看。這首Shiver是專輯Counting down the days裡的歌，好久沒聽了今天不知怎的聽了很有感便和大家分享，其他早期的專輯也都非常棒，像是Smoke, Beauty on the fire等等都是個人很喜歡的幾首，推薦給喜歡這類音樂的同好。
